Service Description

E3 Nurse Assistant Preparation course offers students an opportunity to learn in a hands-on environment under the supervision of experienced licensed nurses. Graduates of the program are eligible to take their state competency examination. This is a comprehensive three week course that covers essential components of the licensing exam. During This Course You Will Learn and Practice: Adult CPR/FA/AED, including first aid for choking Infection control How to take vital signs Personal care skills, such as bathing, grooming and assisting with feeding and toileting Range of motion exercises Positioning and transferring How to be a valuable and adaptable employee Communication, teamwork and diversity skills for the workplace Legal and ethical aspects of health care Caring for people with dementia and other conditions Other important knowledge and skills necessary to be a successful Nurse Assistant.
